Aluminum Flashing Headboard

Happy New Year!  Its been awhile since I posted, but I am back and ready to share more fun projects with you.

This a headboard that my awesome hubby created for me.  It is made out of the rolls of aluminum flashing that you can buy at Menards or Lowes, at least that is the stores we have here in good ole' South Dakota.  I am sure you can find it at any home improvement store.  I don't have a specific tutorial on it but if you have any questions about it please don't hesitate to ask.

This is the back so you can see what the framing looks like.

  1. That is so cool! Is it woven? Does it show smudges and fingerprints?

  2. Hi Beth,I'm your newest follower if I type fast enough! Love the unusual headboard. I also think the colors you are using in that room are wonderful. It's such fun to think outside the box and have something unlike others you know. I hope you will visit my blog and follow it, too. Thanks, Helen

  3. So clever and so pretty! Now I'm trying to find a place in my house to put this great metal project. Very cool.
